ENGLISH - HOUSE OF STUART. CHARLES I   [1625-1649].   Silver   Crown. S2754
TOWER MINT, UNDER THE KING (1625-42). GROUP I; type 1b. Rev. Plume over shield (Welsh silver), mm.castle (1627-8), Cooper viii/xi. Ex:- Archbishop Sharp(Glens.10/77[43]£780); F.R.Cooper(Glens.11/78[54]£850); Alan Morris(bgt M.Senior, 12/98 £900).
A very rare coin with only approximately eight pieces known of this mint mark and only on type 1b. Most coins have gone up in value, two or three times or more, since 1998 - so by comparison this must be a good buy.
