This volume describes and illustrates almost the entire Brooker collection of over 1,350 coins of the reign of Charles I and provides a permanent record of many coins now widely dispersed. The collection has been catalogued by the authors in accordance both with previous Sylloge style and the product of new research in connexion with the provincial Royalist issues.
